Liverpool’s best is yet to come, insists Luis Suárez Luis Suárez believes Liverpool haven’t hit top gear yet despite a promising start to the season. The Reds, who are currently third in thePremier League table, slipped five points behindArsenal following a 2-0 loss to the early leaders at Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Suárez has scored six goals in five games since returning from a 10-match ban for biting Branislav Ivanović last season, and the Uruguayan hopes Liverpool can break into the top four. “We’re doing well right now but we need to carry on that form into the Christmas period,” Suárez toldMatch. “I think our best is yet to come, which hopefully means well for the end of the season and our chances of making next season’sChampions League. That’s one of our aims. “It’s good to be playing well and contributing with goals, but the most important thing is getting three points every week. I wouldn’t be scoring without the help of my teammates, so thanks to them.” Suárez also heaped praise on his strike partnerDaniel Sturridge after the pair scored a combined 10 goals in five games over the past month or so. “He’s a fantastic player and strike partner, and we get on very well. “I hope we continue to score goals and win more awards, but it doesn’t matter who gets the goals or awards as long as we keep winning games.”
