Sergio Aguero and Joe Hart could return for Manchester City's clash against Stoke
Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Joe Hart could return from injury for the Premier League clash at Stoke this weekend, according to manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Striker Aguero was substituted after 64 minutes of the 3-1 win over Southampton on Saturday and missed the Capital One Cup quarter-final triumph over Hull.
Hart suffered a hamstring problem in the Champions League defeat to Juventus last week and also sat out Tuesday's 4-1 League Cup win at the Etihad.
Jesus Navas twisted his ankle and will be assessed but Saturday's game at the Britannia will come too soon for captain Vincent Kompany, who is struggling with a calf problem.
"I don't think Vincent will be ready soon. Maybe against Swansea [on December 12] but not before.
"Hart could be fit for Saturday, if not Tuesday, while Aguero has pain in his heel but he is improving. We will see tomorrow if he can play on Saturday.
"Fernando has a small problem and Samir Nasri has a long time to recover. Navas twisted his ankle - we will see how important it is."
David Silva skippered the side in place of Kompany and Pellegrini hailed his playmaker for instigating passage to the last four.
"It was very important for David. The most important thing was to qualify for the semi-final - but it was also important for him to have 80 minutes after a long injury," Pellegrini said.
"It was also important for Wilfried Bony to play for 65 minutes after he only recovered from a muscle injury a few days before Saturday, and it was good for Kelelchi Iheanacho - a young player who scored.
"He is a very young player. If it very difficult for me to tell which is his future but he wants to learn more every day and scoring goals is important for his development. It is great for all the players to be involved in all competitions."
