Arsenal and Chelsea to be slapped with transfer bans by Fifa – report

Arsenal and Chelsea set to receive transfer bans after Fifa investigation - report
Arsenal and Chelsea are set to be slapped with transfer bans by Fifa, say reports in Spain.
The two London clubs could face a punishment alongside Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and ‘other big clubs in Europe’, according to AS.
La Liga giants Barcelona are nearing the end of their two-year ban for breaking rules in the signing of players under 18 – and it’s been suggested that English clubs were guilty of the same practice.
Barca attempted to set aside their ban with the Court of Arbitration in Sport but were denied – so if the ban is applied to the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea, it’s thought that avenue would be closed for them as well.
Fifa decided to ban Real Madrid for two transfer windows in July but have not yet imposed the sanctions.
