A great night for Wes Foderingham and Rob Kiernan almost turned into a disaster after they lost the keys for their house.
The Rangers pair both played in last night’s comfortable 4-0 victory over Dumbarton in the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship.
It was another assured performance and saw Mark Warburton’s men move three points clear of Hibs at the top of the table.
But it almost turned into a terrible night for Foderingham and Kiernan – both summer signings at the club – after they somehow lost the keys for their house.
Gers goalie Foderingham appealed on Twitter late last night for any locksmiths in Glasgow who might be able to help him out:
There was no shortage of support, with plenty followers offering help, as Foderingham blamed Kiernan for locking them out:
But luckily for the players, they had also left their bathroom window open and it took Kiernan climbing through to get the door open for Foderingham.
And, fortunately for us, the Gers goalie got a brilliant picture of his team-mate’s legs hanging out of the window as he made his way into the house:
Kiernan saw the funny side of it too:
How he got up there we’ll never know.
