Chelsea finally sign Traore on four-and-a-half year deal after wonderkid is granted a work permit. Chelsea have finally signed 18-year-old wonderkid Bertrand Traore. The Europa League holders had been waiting for the exciting Burkina Faso attacking midfielder to be granted a work permit and faced a nervous wait as several other sides became interested in Traore after he impressed during Chelsea's pre-season tour of Asia. But Traore has decided to remain at Stamford Bridge, signing a four-and-a-half year deal. During the pre-season tour to the Far East, Traore impressed, playing a part in all three games as well as scoring twice against the Malaysia XI and Indonesia XI.
