Monaco eye Walcott. Arsenal face a battle to keep hold of Theo Walcott as reports claim Monaco are lining up a January bid. The 24-year-old has been on the sidelines since September with an abdominal injury but that has not put off big-spending Monaco, who are ready to launch a move. Monaco went on a huge spending spree in the summer and it looks as though they are planning another one when window re-opens in January with Walcott said to be a £34million target. Arsenal are likely to knock back all offers though as Arsene Wenger wants to strengthen his squad not weaken it as they push for the Premier League title.
