Despite spending £870million last summer, Premier League clubs are ready to splash the cash again in Janaury’s transfer window.
Last summer’s spending was a Premier League record but with a new television deal kicking in next season, clubs are more desperate than ever to stay in the top flight.
The top clubs, too, know that reinforcements could make the difference in the title race which is as open as its been in the last decade.

Ronaldo’s got a choice of Paris Saint-Germain or Old Trafford if he leaves Real Madrid this summer in what would be the star’s last big move.
However, the recent Paris attacks are said to have put the forward’s mother off a move to the French capital and this could lead to the Portugal international going back to Old Trafford.
